Salicylic Acid

Used to treat acne, blackheads, excessive oil production, and pigmentation, this peel combines 20% salicylic acid, retinol, peptides, and antioxidants. Salicylic acid is a derivative of aspirin, and it has anti-inflammatory properties. The beauty of this is that salicylic acid is not only safe for use on most clients with sensitive skin and even rosacea, but it has been known to calm these conditions with continued use. This makes salicylic acid a wonderful component of any skin care routine for those who struggle with a combination of acne, blackheads, and sensitivity. Note: Clients allergic to aspirin should not use salicylic acid.

Retinol

This treatment resurfaces skin beautifully on its own, and it provides a beneficial boost to other peels for more advanced results. Retinol corrects photo-damage, acne, uneven pigmentation, and other signs of aging. This peel also contains gold and silver minerals to rejuvenate and heal tired and inflamed skin.

Green Power Rebuilder

This unique herbal exfoliant tightens and brightens skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, while correcting uneven pigmentation and acne scarring. It also restores healthy collagen and elastin production. The treatment contains a blend of Badiaga, which is a fresh water sponge that provides mechanical exfoliation, Stinging Nettle to stimulate circulation, anti-inflammatory and brightening Mastiha, and herbs and plant stem cells for their cell repair and antioxidant benefits. This peel is proof of the magic of nature!

Pumpkin Enzyme

Good for all skin types, and safe for diabetic and pregnant clients, this peel is an alternative to acid peels and is gentle, yet effective. It is designed to remove dead surface cells, dissolve sebum deposits, brighten skin, reduce hyperpigmentation and leave the skin with a fresher, softer, more vibrant appearance.

Chardonnay Grape AHA Peel

Composed of lactic acid, malic acid, grape ferment, hyaluronic acid, algae, and panthenol, this peel reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, revitalizes skin texture, evens skin tone, and restores radiance.*
*Especially lovely when combined with microdermabrasion to enhance delivery to skin cells.

Jessner

This is an aggressive peel used to treat advanced aging, photo-damage, pigmentation, mild to severe acne, and to revise scarring, re-texturize thickened or oily skin, and improve the appearance of large pores. It contains 14% lactic acid, 14% salicylic acid, and 14% resorcinol, cell repair agents, the wound healing properties of colloidal silver and gold, and green tea as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent. This particular peel can be layered* for increased results. You might see a white cast to the skin, known as “frosting”, but this will dissipate within a few hours. You can expect 3-7 days of flaking or peeling with this treatment, to be followed by visibly clear, smooth, vibrant skin.

Vita Brite

This beautiful yet gentle brightening peel is a bright idea for all skin types. Vitamin C, bearberry, and anti-inflammatory Mastiha provide a gorgeous cocktail for brightening, firming, and healing the skin. Pineapple and papaya enzymes and multiple acids break down dead skin cells, revealing fresh, smooth skin that more readily absorbs other beneficial ingredients. If you are looking to reveal your glow and increase hydration in your skin, with little to no downtime, look no further.

*Certain clients appreciate the effects of layering their peel treatments. While this is not ideal for everyone, those who are addressing a combination of acne, blackheads, skin discoloration, aging, fine lines and wrinkles, and/or uneven texture see wonderful results with this process. If this is your first time to have a peel treatment I will not do any layering. I need to see the results of one peel before doing a more aggressive treatment. If you are a candidate for layering peels, we will discuss your options and choose the peels that best suit your skin type, condition(s), and goals.

What to expect following a peel treatment:

  • Days 1 to 3 – Tight, dry skin with moderate redness and sensitivity
  • Days 2 to 5 – Areas of darkened skin (this is the old skin in preparation to peel)
  • Days 3 to 7 – Peeling or slight flaking lasting 2 to 5 days

This is not necessarily the case for all clients, but they are general guidelines so that you know what is normal for the skin.
